First Avenue is a multi award-winning boutique construction company based in Brighton, Victoria. Led by Anthony Karlovic, we specialise in luxury custom homes, renovations and developments. What do you build?

We specialise in residential construction across new custom homes, knock-down and re-build projects, renovation and extension projects and multi-occupancy developments including dual occupancy townhouse developments through to higher density apartment buildings up to five levels and developments with underground basements.

What areas do you service?

We generally service the inner Melbourne suburbs or a 20 kilometre radius around the Melbourne CBD. Most of our projects are currently located in the Bayside area in Melbourne’s south east including Brighton, Brighton East, Hampton, Sandringham, Black Rock, Highett, Bentleigh and surrounds.

How much do you charge?

We currently work with clients with construction budgets starting from $400k for renovation and addition projects and construction budgets of $750k onwards for new custom homes.

Can I get a quote?

Yes, we quote all prospective projects on an individual basis and our extensive quoting process takes around 2-3 weeks. To proceed with quoting a new build or renovation project we require working drawings, engineering drawings and specifications complete.

Can you tell me about the process?

Sure! When clients or architects come to us with a project design we complete a full quoting process and present the potential project cost and inclusions to the client. When this is refined and accepted we move to contract signing and construction commences.

If a client is yet to have any building design underway we assist the client in selecting a design partner from our industry connections and act as a building consultant along the way to ensure their dream design comes together within their scope and target budget. Again, once design and selections are complete we can move to formal quoting, contract signing and the construction of another dream home.

As a truly custom home builder, all clients have free reign in designing and selecting the materials and finishes they would like in their home.
